You can use Convert to change between the Column stitch types:
You can also convert to Satin Area, but you cannot convert back to a column.
Note: After saving and reloading satin columns converted to lightly stitched columns such as Richelieu Bars and Tapered Motifs will no longer be recognized as columns. (This is because they are so lightly stitched they would be detected as smaller columns, or as running or double stitch lines.) Make any desired changes before saving.
