Change Object Settings

Change Settings for a Single Object
  1. In the work area select a stitch object (a stitch line or fill).

  2. Control–click the object and choose Properties. The Area Properties dialog is displayed.

  3. In the Area Properties dialog make the desired changes. See Area Properties.

Note: You can also change multiple objects of the same type this way. Select several objects, then change the properties for one of the selected objects. All are changed.

Change Object Settings in Complex Designs
  1. Click the Control Panel button

  3. To select an object directly on the work area, click on the desired object, or click an adjacent object then use the left and right arrow keys to step through to the required object (for example, to select a color change).

  4. Note: To make it easier to select the desired object, use the color worksheet, Filters and slider bars to hide other objects.

  5. To select an object with the FilmStrip, scroll through the FilmStrip and select the desired object, or click any object and use the up and down arrow keys to step through the FilmStrip.

  6. To change the properties of the selected object, Control–click it on the work area, or Control–click the entry in the FilmStrip, and then select Properties. Then change the entries in the properties dialog.

  7. To change the properties for all visible objects of the selected type, Control–click the entry in the FilmStrip and select Global Properties. Then change the entries for all objects of that type in the properties dialog.

  8. To change the properties for several selected objects of the same type, use Shift–click or Command–click to select the desired objects in the FilmStrip. Control–click one of the selected objects and select Properties. Then change the entries for that selected object in the properties dialog. All of the selected objects are changed.

  9. When you have made your changes, click OK to apply the new settings.
    Click Cancel if you decide not to save the new settings.

  10. Note: When you click OK for changing Global or Properties, or the properties for several selected objects, all of the settings in the dialog are applied to all visible or selected objects of that type.

  11. Repeat as desired with other objects, then click Design Player to see the design as it will be stitched.
