Use the Express Trace Options page to select the line type for the embroidery, and the thread color. Double Trace traces the lines in the picture with a combination of double and running stitch, Quadruple Trace uses a combination of triple and running stitch, and Satin Line Trace uses a satin line.
The Express Trace Options page only appears when you are creating a Express Trace design.
Select the line type for tracing the picture from one of the following:
Double Trace: Trace the picture with Double Stitch where possible, with a layer of Running Stitch where necessary.
Quadruple Trace: Trace the picture with Triple Stitch where possible, with an additional layer of Running Stitch where necessary.
Satin Line Trace: Trace the picture with satin line, using the same width and density for the satin line throughout.
Click one of the Trace Method buttons to select the stitch type.
Use Options to adjust the stitch properties for the selected Trace Method in the properties dialog for that stitch type.
If Double Trace or Quadruple Trace are selected the Trace Options dialog is displayed.
If Satin Line Trace is selected the Satin Line dialog is displayed. See Satin Line.
Click the Options button to see the options dialog.
Use the Trace Options dialog to set the Stitch Length of the running stitch to use for Double Trace and Quadruple Trace.
Click the arrows to set Length from 1 to 12mm in steps of 0.1mm, or enter a value in the number box. The initial setting is 2mm.
