Basting Line for All Designs

Use Basting Line for All Designs  to insert a rectangular basting line automatically around all designs on the screen. This will secure the fabric and stabilizer before beginning embroidery, and is useful for an embroidery project with multiple sections.

Set the margin and stitch length in Preferences.

The basting line is automatically created as the first subdesign, using a medium gray color.
