 Use the Monochrome effect to create silhouette and cameo designs from multicolored embroideries.

The Color Selection dialog appears so you can choose a color and/or thread effect.

Create a Monochrome Version of an Embroidery

Create a Monochrome Embroidery from a Multicolor Design
  1. Choose File > New to open a new window.

  2. Monochrome_1_Deco_Flower_Corner_original.jpg

     

  3. Choose Edit > Insert > Insert Design and in the folder mySewnet/Samples/Stitch Editor/Stitch load the 'Deco Flower Corner' embroidery.

  4. In the Modify tab, click Monochrome

    . The Color Selection dialog opens.

  5. Click Colors

    to open the Colors window.

  6. Click Colored Pencils

    to select the Colored Pencils color model.

  7. Click the Tangerine color pencil.

  8. Click OK to select the color. The complete embroidery is now orange.

Note: Monochrome only changes visible stitches. If you use the sliders or other functions to hide some of the stitches, the color of those stitches will not be changed.
