Apply a wave pattern radiating from the center of the visible stitches, like dropping a stone in a pond.
Adjust the Height from -100 to +100. The higher the number, the larger the size of the ripples. Negative values reverse the peaks and troughs of the waves.
Adjust the Frequency from 1 to 100. This changes the number of ripples radiating from the center.
Use the zoom controls to change the view of the embroidery in the Before and After previews.
Morph a Flower with Ripple
Click File, New
to open a new window.
In the Quick Access toolbar, click Insert
.
In the folder Documents\mySewnet\Samples\Stitch Editor\Stitch load the 'Flower Yellow Twist' embroidery.
Click the Modify tab.
Click Global Morphing
and the Global Morphing Effects dialog box will appear.
At the top left of the screen, click the drop-down arrow to the right of the currently selected effect and select Ripple.
Click and drag the Height slider bar to 25. The After preview will be updated as you move the slider bar. Alternatively, enter the number in the Height box.
You can set the Height between -100 and +100.
Click and drag the Frequency slider bar to 75. The After preview will be updated as you move the slider bar.
You can set the Frequency between 1 and 100.
Click OK and the flower will be morphed.
