Use Split Embroidery 
to split the embroidery according to the split lines you have defined. Once the split is processed, the sections of the embroidery are shown in the Save Embroidery wizard page. If you are happy with the result, export the split sections of the embroidery with a common name. The name is suffixed with a number for each embroidery section.
