"I can't drag and drop designs from the Open dialog box."
To drag and drop embroideries onto the Work Area, in Windows® 10 and 8, click File Explorer on the Status Bar. In Windows® 7, right-click Start, then Explore to start Windows® Explorer. Then follow the instructions under Drag and Drop. See Load a Design with Drag and Drop.
