Load a Design with Drag and Drop

To drag and drop a cross stitch design (.krz) file onto the screen, use Windows® Explorer.

Use Open to load a file by name, or Recent on the File menu to open recently used designs.

Open a Design with Drag and Drop

1. Open a window in Explorer. If required, resize the Explorer window so you can see both Explorer and mySewnet™ Cross Stitcher.

In Windows® 10, click File Explorer on the Status Bar.

2. Browse through the drives and folders of your computer to find the Documents\mySewnet\Samples\Cross Stitch\Krz folder.

3. Click on the desired design name to highlight it.

4. Use the mouse to drag and drop the design onto the mySewnet™ Cross Stitcher screen. The design will be displayed on the screen.

You may be asked if you want to save the current design.

5. Close Windows® Explorer.
