Use the Insert Points pointer to insert a point in the currently selected object outline, or a stitch angle line for a satin area.
Points can be inserted into all line and area types, including emboss lines and MultiWave lines. The only exception is Single Stitch, where points cannot be added or removed.
In the Control Panel, click Insert Point , then click to insert points.
Choose Edit > Points > Insert Points, then click to insert points.
Use Command–click to add a point at the selected position.
Press ⌥⌘E
Note: A pair of points is inserted when a point is added to a column.
Click the Control Panel button
on the toolbar.
Click the desired object to show the points that make it up.
Click Edit Points
to enable points editing.
Hold the Command key, and move the pointer over the object outline. The pointer changes to the insert point pointer
. Alternatively, click Insert Points
.
Click the place on the object outline where you want to add the new point.
Drag to move any of the points in the object to alter its shape.
If desired, Command–click to add further points.
To add a stitch angle line to a satin area, hold the Command key and drag to draw a line across the desired section of the area.
Note: If the angle line does not appear, then it is not allowed in the place you attempted to draw it. For example, the line drawn my cross another angle line.
