With Box Select
, drag to draw a rectangle around the area you want to select. Only objects that are completely enclosed by the selection line are selected.
In the toolbar, click Box Select
.
Choose Edit > Box Select.
In the toolbar, click Box Select

Drag to draw a rectangle around the area you want to select.
Lift the pen or release the mouse when the required objects are enclosed. They become the current selection, as indicated by a rectangle with handles.
If you want to make a new selection, draw a new box around the required objects.
Note: Use Command–click to add or remove an area to your selection.
Control–click and select Finish Box Select to cancel the Box Select tool.
Note: Use Add to Selection
with any select function to increase the area of selected objects, or use Remove From Selection
to make the currently selected area smaller.
