The Filters buttons are used to hide and show the objects in the design by object type, and/or by color block sequence. When a filter is used to hide objects, the objects are hidden in the work area and in the FilmStrip.
Note: If there are no objects of the relevant type in the design, or they are all already hidden by other means, the filter buttons have no effect.
The Hide Line Types filter is used to hide and show Running, Double and Triple Stitches, Motif Lines and Tapered Motifs.
Select the design, then in the Control Panel, click Hide Line Types
.
Choose Object > Filter > Hide Line Types.
The Hide Fill Types filter is used to hide and show Pattern Fill Areas, Motif Fill Areas and QuiltStipple, Shape, MultiWave, Radial, Spiral, Contour, Echo and Crosshatch Fill Areas.
Select the design, then in the Control Panel, click Hide Fill Types
.
Choose Object > Filter > Hide Fill Types.
The Hide Satin Area filter is used to hide and show Satin Areas.
Select the design, then in the Control Panel, click Hide Satin Areas
.
Choose Object > Filter > Hide Satin Areas.
The Hide Column Types filter is used to hide and show Satin Column, Richelieu Bars, Feather Satin and Satin Lines.
Select the design, then in the Control Panel, click Hide Column Types
.
Choose Object > Filter > Hide Column Types.
The Hide Single Stitches filter is used to hide and show Single Stitches and Alignment Stitches in the design. They are generally used for traveling stitches within the design and for underlay, and to align when stitching out. They often do not affect the appearance of a design, so you may find it useful to hide them.
Select the design, then in the Control Panel, click Hide Single Stitches

Choose Object > Filter > Hide Single Stitches.
The Hide Stops and Colors filter is used to hide and show Color Change and Stop commands.
Select the design, then in the Control Panel, click Hide Stops and Colors

Choose Object > Filter > Hide Stops and Colors.
The Hide Groups filter is used to hide and show Groups.
Select the design, then in the Control Panel click Hide Groups
.
Choose Object > Filter > Hide Groups.
The Hide Appliqués filter is used to hide and show Appliqué areas.
Select the design, then in the Control Panel, click Hide Appliqué
.
Choose Object > Filter > Hide Appliqué.
The Draw Previous Color Block filter is used to step through the color blocks in reverse order.
Select the design, then in the Control Panel, click Draw Previous Color Block
.
Choose Object > Display > Draw Previous Color Block.
Press ⌘[
The Draw Next Color Block filter is used to step through the color blocks one at a time.
Select the design, then in the Control Panel click Draw Next Color Block

Choose Object > Display > Draw Next Color Block.

The Display All Objects filter is used to display all objects and commands in the design.
Select the design, then in the Control Panel, click Display All Objects
