Use Freehand Appliqué Outline Freehand_Tablet_Applique_Outline_icon01565.jpg to draw a line of any shape to create an appliqué outline.

Create an appliqué outline with Freehand Appliqué Outline
  1. Select an embroidery.

  2. Open the Appliqué window

  3. Click Freehand Appliqué Outline

  4. Select a Color Command or Stop Command as a place to start the appliqué piece.

  5. Note: When hovering over a Color Command you will see the stitching that follows it.

  6. Drag to draw the outline, and release the mouse button to complete the line.

  7. Control–click, and in the Context menu choose Finish placing appliqué. The Appliqué Selection dialog opens.

  8. Select a fabric, then click OK to place the Appliqué Piece.

Note: Hold down Command to place a corner point when editing a line.
