to replace the currently selected area with the new selection.

Replace a Selection

  1. Place an image on the Canvas.

  2. Use Box Select Box_Select_icon_dp00235.jpg (or another selection tool) to select an area.

  3. Ensure that Replace Selection

    Replace_Selection_icon00237.jpg

    is selected.

    4. Replace Selection is initially selected.

  4. Using Box Select Box_Select_icon_dp00239.jpg, select something else.

The new selection replaces your old selection.
