Use Freehand Shape to draw a line to create shape.
Draw a line, and the line is closed automatically to form a shape. Adjust the shape by moving the nodes.
Shortcut
Create Tab:
Keys: Alt, C, D, DF
Select the Create tab in the ribbon bar.
In the Shape area select a Fill type and an Outline type.
In the Draw Shape
drop-down menu, select Freehand Shape
. The pointer changes to the Freehand pointer
.
Draw a line on the work area, then release the mouse button. The line is drawn as a closed line (a loop) with nodes.
If the desired line is not achieved when created initially, either redo the line or select and move the nodes as desired.
Move the pointer over one of the nodes on the line. The pointer changes to the Move Node pointer
. Adjust the node as desired.
Use Ctlr–click to change a round node to a square node, to make the line straight.
When your line is as desired, right-click to place the shape.
