Duplicate

Use Duplicate to make a copy of the drawing in the current window using that drawing’s name. The new window will use the original name with the word "copy" at the end.

Then use Save to save the copied drawing under a different name and/or folder.

Note: When a drawing is Duplicated the version history is not kept.

To use Duplicate

Duplicate a Drawing
  1. Create a drawing using the Draw and Insert features.

  2. Choose File > Save (or press ⌘S) to Save the drawing. See Save.

  3. Choose File > Duplicate (or press ⇧⌘S).

  4. A new window is opened containing a copy of the saved drawing. The new window uses the same name as the original, but with the word "copy" at the end.

  5. Choose File > Save (or press ⌘S).

  6. Save the duplicated drawing in the Save dialog under the desired name and folder.
