Use Duplicate to make a copy of the embroidery design outline in the current window using that embroidery’s name. The new window will use the original name with the word "copy" at the end. You could use Duplicate to remove part of a multipart embroidery and save the changed embroidery under a new name.
Then use Save to save the copied embroidery design outline under a different name and/or folder.
Note: When an embroidery is Duplicated the version history is not kept.
Choose File > Duplicate.
Press ⇧⌘S
Create an embroidery using the ExpressDesign Assistant or Quick Create from Background, or the QuickStitch, Freehand and Point Create features.
Choose File > Save (or press ⌘S) to Save the embroidery design outline. See Save.
Choose File > Duplicate (or press ⇧⌘S).
A new window is opened containing a copy of the saved embroidery design outline. The new window uses the same name as the original, but with the word "copy" at the end.
Choose File > Save (or press ⌘S).
Save the duplicated embroidery design outline in the Save dialog under the desired name and folder.
