Use Point Select
to select embroideries within an area of any shape, defined by a series of points. Point Select may be easier to use than Freehand Select for precise selections.
Note: Use Add to Selection to increase the area of selected embroideries, or Remove From Selection to make the area smaller.
To select embroideries with Point Select

Click the Point Select
button on the toolbar, then click a series of points to create an irregular outline of straight and curved lines around the desired embroideries. Control–click and in the Context menu choose Finish Point Select to finish.
