Use Insert Trim to add a command which instructs some embroidery machines to cut the thread.
Note: When Delete Commands is selected, a Trim command
is shown by a green circle containing the letter T.
Use Trim commands when converting embroideries made for non-trimming machines for use on machines that support Trim commands. Trim commands can be added between areas of the same color. For instance, insert Trim commands to trim out the joining stitches between lettering when the thread color contrasts with the fabric.
In the Modify window of the Control Panel , click Insert Trim
.
Choose Edit > Modify > Insert Trim.
In the Modify window of the Control Panel
, click Insert Trim
. Alternatively, choose Edit > Modify > Insert Trim.
Click on the stitch where you want to insert the trim command. When a trim is inserted, the stitch disappears in 3D mode.
While in 2D mode in the Modify window a dashed line indicates the movement or trimmed stitch.
Control–click and select Finish Insert Trim to cancel the Insert Trim tool.
