The upper slider sets the Draw From Start stitch. The lower slider sets the Draw To End stitch.
Use the Draw Range to set the Start or End stitch in either of the following ways:

Drag the slider |
Click the space by the slider |

Drag the slider along the bar.

Click in the space on the slider bar on either side of the slider to move it to the point where you click, or to the other slider if that is closer.
In both cases, the work area will show the range of stitches as the Start or End stitch changes.
Note: When you set a Draw Range, only the stitches in the color blocks that are visible within the range are displayed
