Use Zoom To Fit
to view the whole hoop area. Click the Zoom To Fit icon and the view will zoom in or out to show the hoop area in the window.
If a window is very small then Zoom To Fit will zoom out as far as possible, which may not necessarily fit the whole hoop area in the window. This is because the furthest zoom out is limited to 10% zoom level.
