Use Insert Tie Off to add a tie stitch at the end of the stitch area to be secured. The stitches making up the tie stitch are inserted in the embroidery after the last stitch point of the selected stitch.

Modify Stitch, Modify Tab:

Add Tie Stitches to Secure a Fill Area
Open an embroidery with a fill area.
In the Modify tab, click Insert Tie On
.
Find the beginning of the fill area to be secured.
Click the stitch where you wish to insert the tie stitch. A tie stitch is placed to secure the beginning of the fill area.
In the Modify tab, click Insert Tie Off
.
There is no need to deselect the previous tool if another Modify tool is selected.
Find the end of the fill area to be secured.
Click the stitch where you wish to insert the tie stitch. A tie stitch is placed to secure the end of the fill area.
Right-click to deselect Insert Tie Off.
To delete a tie stitch, delete the stitch points making up the tie stitch.
