Some pictures may have random marks, speckles or excess details. If desired, use the Picture window to clean up your picture before using it in the ExpressDesign Wizard. For example, you may have an outline in a picture that is serrated on one side. Smoothing such an outline will usually give better results, particularly from Express Trace and Express Border.
