Use Zoom To Fit 
to view the whole design area. Click the Zoom To Fit icon and the view will zoom in or out to show the design area in the window.
If the window is very small then Zoom To Fit will zoom out as far as possible, which may not necessarily fit the whole design area in the window.
If the design area is very large, the zoom level may be set to the minimum zoom level. At the minimum zoom level, the grid, 3D fabric and background picture are not shown, so the screen may appear to be blank if there are no stitches in the design. Also, the stitch tools will be unavailable. Zoom in to see the grid and background picture and use the stitch tools.
