If you make changes to a design, then try to close the design before saving the changes, a message will appear, asking if you want to save the changed design.
If you exit mySewnet™ Cross Stitcher or start the Cross Stitch Design Wizard then you will be asked about the open design. Choose between:

Save the changes to the design. If it is a new design, the Save As dialog box appears. |

Do not save the design and continue. Any changes to the design are lost. If it was a new design then it is discarded without being saved. |

Do not save the design, but keep the design open and do not close mySewnet™ Cross Stitcher. |
