Use Box Select 
to select crosses and backstitch in a rectangular area. Click Box Select and the pointer changes to the box select pointer 
. Click and drag around the area you want to select. Only stitches that are on grid points that are completely enclosed by the selection line will be selected. When you release the mouse button, the block will show you the extent of the selection. Click outside the block to make a new selection using this method.
The block can be moved, mirrored horizontally and vertically and rotated in 90 degree steps. The block can be copied or cut to the clipboard and then pasted to the same or another cross stitch design. The block can also be deleted.
Box Select is also activated automatically when a block is pasted into a design.
If the wrong area is selected, click outside the box to deselect.
Box Select is not available to make new selections when the Multiply function is active.
