Control how multiple lines of text are arranged relative to each other.
Use the Alignment buttons to choose left, center or right alignment.
Note: The Alignment setting does not affect circular lettering shapes.
Use Line Spacing to change the distance between multiple lines of text. Line Spacing can be adjusted from 1.0 to 5.0.
Use Letter Properties to change lettering after it has been placed, but before it has been fixed as an embroidery.
Note: To change the stitch type, Control–click the lettering and select the stitch type from the context menu. See Stitch Type.
Control–click within the lettering and select Properties from the context menu. The Letter Properties dialog appears.
Edit the text of the lettering in the Letters text box. Use Option–Return to add extra lines or break up existing lines of text.
Note: You can check the spelling of the text. See Spelling Checker.
Click the displayed font to change the font in the font viewer.
Click the displayed lettering shape to change the lettering shape.
Adjust Size to change the basic size of the lettering. It is recommended to use a size within the range indicated in the font name.
Click the arrows for height and width to change the proportions of the lettering. Alternatively, enter a size in the number box.
Adjust Gap to change the spacing between the letters. Click the arrows, or enter a value.
Select Trim or Running Stitch as the connection method.
Select the alignment of the line of lettering. Click Left, Center or Right, as desired.
Click the arrows for Line Spacing to set the distance between multiple lines of text.
Click OK to apply your changes to the selected lettering.
