Use Insert Stitches to add new stitches to an embroidery. For example, you may add more underlay to an embroidery or make a new section of an embroidery. You can even change an embroidery into an appliqué embroidery by adding placement stitches and Stops to secure the appliqué fabric.
In the Modify window of the Control Panel
, click Insert Stitches
.
Choose Edit > Modify > Insert Stitches.
In the Modify window of the Control Panel
, click Insert Stitches
. Alternatively, choose Edit > Modify > Insert Stitches.
Click the stitch where you want to add stitches.
Click again to place a new stitch point after the stitch point you started from.
Note: The stitches are added using the thread color where you insert the stitches. If you need to use a different color for the stitches, insert color changes before and after the new stitches have been added.
Each following click will place a new stitch point after the previous one.
Double-click or press Return to finish the line of inserted stitches.
Control–click and select Finish Insert Stitches to close the Insert Stitches tool.
