Edit Design

Move between mySewnet™ Embroidery Software apps using Edit Design  and adjust the selected part of your project in another app. Embroideries are opened in mySewnet™ Stitch Editor, and .edo design files are opened in mySewnet™ Digitizing.

Note: You can also open other apps from the Welcome page or Create window.

To Edit a Selected Design in Another App

• Select the design, and then in the Design window  of the Control Panel  click Edit Design . A linking dialog is displayed, and the appropriate app opens.

• Select the design, and then Control–click and select "Edit in..." in the context menu. A linking dialog is displayed, and the appropriate app opens.

Adjusting a Design in Another App

1. Select the subdesign to be changed, and then in the Design window  of the Control Panel  click Edit Design .

 

First the linking dialog opens, followed by the app to edit the design. For example, mySewnet™ Digitizing is opened for .edo designs.

2. Edit the embroidery or design as desired.

3. If you will want to use this subdesign again separately from your original project, save the design within the linked to app.

4. Close the app, and your edited subdesign appears in the mySewnet™ Embroidery work area.

Note: You can also close by clicking Finish in the linking dialog.
